Baraboo, WI – December 1, 2015 – MBE CPAs has our first round of college career fairs in the books. Earlier this year, we decided that we would explore an additional avenue for recruiting talent that our company has not tried in the past; attend college career fairs.
In a few short weeks, we visited UW Whitewater, UW Eau Claire, UW Platteville, UW La Crosse and UW Steven’s Point. So, why did we decide to attend career fairs and a student networking reception, you ask? One reason is because our company is growing, and therefore hiring, at a pace that we previously have not and we welcomed the opportunity to meet multiple qualified applicants, in one setting.
Another reason was for branding. It was our hope that if a student hadn’t heard of MBE before, that they knew our name and knew why they would want to consider working at MBE by the time they left. As they approach graduation, we invite students to explore the opportunities that working at MBE can offer.
We are happy to be located in rural and medium sized communities that allow us to create lifelong friendships with clients and coworkers. Additionally, many of our offices are in close proximity to larger communities that are accessible if desired.
