Mark has just joined our firm as Senior Director of Client Accounting Services. He will work with our firm to deliver expanded virtual accounting services for our clients, and will lead our virtual CFO/virtual controller advisory and consulting service offerings. The goal for each of these services will be to take our clients to the next level in understanding, managing and growing their businesses.
Upon graduation from Carroll University, Waukesha with a Bachelor in Accounting, Mark started in public accounting in the small business practice at Price Waterhouse in Milwaukee. Since then he has spent much of his career in private industry as controller, director of finance, and VP of Finance.
Mark has extensive business, financial and executive management experience gained through working with fellow employees, customers and vendors, and on cross functional teams, non-profit boards and a joint venture board of directors. His expertise encompasses:

Glen graduated from North Central Technical College with an Associates degree in Accounting and has been working in public accounting since 1987. He specializes in providing tax preparation, tax planning, and consulting services to small business clients in a wide range of industries. He is also considered one of Marathon County’s finest QuickBooks “experts”.
He is a member of the North Central Technical Accountants Advisory Board and in his spare time he enjoys camping, riding his Harley, and most of all spending time with his two wonderful daughters.
The role of trusted business advisor is something that Jon does not take lightly. He considers his clients’ trust and the opportunity to serve them as a great responsibility and privilege. Jon treats clients’ businesses and financial matters as if they were his own.
Taxation and business consulting are Jon’s primary areas of focus. He enjoys working with individuals and businesses to help them meet their goals in tax efficient ways. Business owners are busy people, and Jon likes to help them step back to see the big picture and use financial information to help manage the business. Proactive planning, developing relationships and working to fully understand all aspects of a client’s financial situation is what Jon strives to achieve.
Jon has worked with a large variety of clients from many industries. Some areas of emphasis include family and closely-owned companies, transaction planning, and tax planning for individuals and businesses. He is also a leader in the firm’s estate and trust group and has expertise in planning and compliance for estates and trusts, gift planning and administration, and working on family and business successions.
Jon is an experienced accounting professional and comes to MBE CPAs after beginning his career at a large regional CPA firm and working in a management role with a local Wausau CPA firm. He graduated with honors from UW-Eau Claire with bachelor’s degrees in both accounting and finance, and received his CPA designation soon after graduation.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Central Wisconsin Estate Planners Forum. He is also a member of the Wausau Noon Optimists and serves on the finance committee of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Terry lives the Rotary mantra of “Service Above Self”. Whether its nights or weekends, he has been accustomed to the client coming first. In service businesses on Main Street in Sun Prairie for the last 40 years, he has seen to his clients’ best interests, first as a business loan officer at a local bank, and for the last 25+ years as their CPA and financial advisor. He was recognized by the Sun Prairie Chamber of Commerce as the Community Business Leader of the Year for 2006.
Terry received his MBA degree at UW-Madison, and specializes in tax consulting, agricultural and small business accounting and tax, including entity selection and planning. He is a long standing member of the WICPA (Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
A native Sun Prairie resident, Terry is an Ashley Award recipient from the City of Sun Prairie, recognizing his achievements for the betterment of the City. He is very active in the community, having served on the Dane County Ag Delegation, Sun Prairie Utility Commission, Sun Prairie Library and Rotary boards. He is a Rotary Paul Harris fellow and club past president. He has been on the Finance Council for his church for 20 years and seen it thru a building project to becoming debt free. Terry currently is a member of the Board of Directors for F+M Bank, Waterloo/Marshall.
An ardent UW Badger fan, Terry acknowledges “his” 3 seasons: Tax, Golf, and Football. Any spare time is spent traveling and playing cards.

When it comes to client service, Ryan is passionate about building his relationships through personalized service, timely responses and educating his clients so they have a clear understanding of their business.
Ryan is an office manager in the Reedsburg office where he provides tax preparation and planning, forecasts and projections, business valuations, and client education.
Ryan graduated from Viterbo University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and began his career in public accounting in the area of individual and business tax preparation in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He moved back home to the Reedsburg area in 2009 and began his career at MBE. Since then he has dedicated his professional time to working with small business owners to achieve their financial goals. His commitment to his clients has fostered long standing, trusted relationships between himself and the clients he works with.
His agriculture background has taught him about the hard work and level of commitment small business owners endure. His military background has taught him the discipline needed to work with clients who utilize the same discipline in their businesses.
When Ryan is not in the office or at home with his wife and two boys, you can find Ryan on the family pontoon on the lake or back on the family farm.

Frank started with our firm in the fall of 2005. Being a “hometown” guy, he is able to provide outstanding service to clients right out of the gate.
Frank’s areas of expertise are small business consulting, QuickBooks, tax and audit. His areas of emphasis are small businesses and manufacturing.

Frank graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a double major in Business Administration and Managerial Accounting. He then worked at an accounting software company where he installed and trained the customer on the software and provided customer support for any software issues.
Outside the office, Frank enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, boating and getting out into the woods in the fall for some bow hunting.

Doug’s experience in public accounting has his main focus being income tax planning and preparation. At the end of 2010, Doug completed the requirements for his CPA certification and is currently a licensed CPA in Wisconsin.
Financial reporting has never been more important to the small business owner than it is today. Doug enjoys spending one-on-one time with his clients to help them understand their financial situation and brainstorm ways to improve upon it. At the end of the day, Doug’s goal is to allow his clients to excel at running their business while knowing their tax and financial reporting obligations are handled in a timely manner. Doug’s clients appreciate the peace of mind that he provides them while avoiding surprises come tax time.
Outside the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his family and dog, playing golf and following his alma mater’s athletic teams.
Chris started at MBE CPAs in January of 2008. He attended Lake Superior State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Chris prepares individual and business tax returns specializing in the trucking and rental real estate industries, with a focus on consolidated and multi-state returns. He also does audits and reviews with a focus on community based residential facilities, 401k plans, non-profit entities, and construction contractors. In addition, he deals with various tax issues and business consulting.
In his down time, Chris spends time with his family and enjoys hunting and other various hobbies.
Kim is zealous about taking her clients to the next level. She gains an understanding of her clients and then provides the consulting necessary to put them more in control of their financial future.
Kim provides tax preparation, tax planning, business consulting and valuation services to a wide range of industries with a forte in the professional service and restaurant industries. Her commitment to client service has fostered long standing, trusted relationships between her and the clients she works for.
Kim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2006 and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) since 2012. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration and her Master of Professional Accountancy, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She began with MBE in 2004.
At the end of the day Kim enjoys bicycle rides with her husband and kids and enjoying Wisconsin’s many lakes with family and friends.

Morgan is passionate about client service and enjoys helping his clients get to the real issues. He is extremely involved in managing every client relationship and diligently listens to his clients so that he can provide them with the best solutions and advice possible.
Morgan is a partner in the Baraboo office where he provides tax preparation & planning, business consulting, and audit & review engagements. His expertise in implementing successful business solutions within a variety of industries including retail pharmacy, bar/restaurant and ag services has made for long-term client relations of trust and loyalty.
Morgan began his career in public accounting in the area of attestation services (audit) with a large CPA firm in the Madison, WI market. His client base was diverse and he gained a wealth of experience servicing clients both big and small. He also spent four and a half years working as a controller in both the agricultural and health insurance industries at large organizations. In 2003, he and a partner formed an accounting and tax practice in Sauk County, WI. In 2008, Morgan merged his practice with MBE.
Morgan is a graduate of UW Madison with a bachelor’s of administration and a double major in accounting and marketing. His education along with his experience has given Morgan a solid background with which to assist his client base.

Tim’s personal mission
Many consider Tim an “outside the box accountant”. He has a forward looking/client centric approach to offering strategic advice to small/medium sized businesses. Tim’s focus is on areas of tax, entity, succession and retirement planning.
Over the past twenty years, Tim has worked hard at becoming an outstanding professional. By working in several CPA firms, Tim grew in his knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting. Additionally, Tim has held the position of controller for a construction firm, large retailer, and hospitality businesses. Since Tim joined MBE CPAs in 2000, it has grown from 2 professionals to over 80.
Through the years, Tim has become associated with the following professional organizations. Currently he is a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants), WICPA (Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and PCPS (Private Companies Practice Section).
Tim’s involvement goes beyond professional associations and includes community service. Those activities include the Greater Sauk County Community Foundation, VP; Baraboo Kiwanis and Planned Giving committee – St Clare Hospital. Tim also enjoys participating in volleyball, softball, and coaching. Tim enjoys spending time with his three sons, Ryan, Alex, & Jamie.
